About Cold Cedar Co

Cold Cedar Co helps people choose a home cold plunge or sauna that fits their space and budget, without overspending or believing the hype. It is written by Nora Vance, a recovery-gear tester and cold-water swimmer who lives with the equipment she reviews.

We are different from most recovery sites in two ways. First, we are independent: we test at home over weeks and rank by what holds up, not by who pays the most. Second, we lead with the cheap way. A stock tank and a chiller, or even a tub and bags of ice, gets many people most of the benefit for a fraction of a premium unit, and we say so.
